Turning my passion for my faith into a lifestyle. That’s how I live my Catholic life. I choose to live a life that is Christ centred. A life that is directed by my faith and trust in God.
Life can be so exciting when we let go and let God take control. Things may not always pan out the way we would like, but isn’t it exciting to know that we have God in control that knew us and loved us before we were born, as God says in Jeremiah 1:5 ‘ Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart, and appointed you as prophet to the nation’.
This verse clearly shows us that God has a plan for each and every one of us. It tells me.. none of us were a second thought. We were wonderfully made and we are intimately known and loved by God.
Stumbles and falls may hurt my bones, but Gods word will always help me
I remember, I along with my brothers and sisters use to use this phrase a lot when growing up.. ‘Stick and Stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me’…
I’d like to share with you some tips, practices, lessons I’ve learnt along the way (some of the time stumbling and falling) whilst navigating life, marriage, parenting as a Christian and Catholic. I’d like to say now that I don’t have all the answers to living a perfect Catholic life, but I have been blessed with a beautiful 12 years of marriage to a wonderful man husband and father. I’ve also been blessed with 2 wonderful sons.
Some of the topics below are close to my heart… I love being a Wife and Mother and so early on Ill share these amazing vocation stories, experiences with you. But, there’ so much more to come in my the Catholic Life and Me Blog.
